What it’s like to be a Northbridge Manager IT Audit

Northbridge is seeking an IT Audit Manager who can see the “bigger picture” and be part of the Senior leadership team in their role for the organization beyond IT General Controls. As part of the Internal Audit team, they will provide a senior role providing audit services to assist management in the achievement of the Company’s objectives.

They are responsible for supporting the Audit and Risk Committee and being a central part of the Senior Management team by leading and developing the IT audit team, preparation of the annual IT audit plan and participating in all phases of the audit from planning, execution and reporting on audits in accordance with professional standards. While performing and managing in depth, complex IT operational risk based audits in critical areas such as cybersecurity, infrastructure, incident management and cloud environments and SOX audits, they promote effective IT control and sound business practices via independent risk-based assurance and consulting services, designed to add value and improve the organization’s IT operations.

If you have:

  • Post-secondary education and/or equivalent on the job experience.
  • Completion of CISA is required.
  • Strong knowledge of IT control framework(s) (COBIT, NIST etc.) is required.
  • Working knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley Act.
  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud networking and cybersecurity.
  • 7+previous experience in IT auditing with 3-5+ years in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Work experience in the insurance industry is desirable.
  • Completion of CISSP or CSX-P designation is highly desirable.

We’re committed to pay transparency and fairness. The base salary range for this role is $110,000 - $148,000, which reflects the expected base pay – not the total compensation package. The actual base salary may vary depending on your experience, skills, and alignment with the position. We’re also open to candidates at different levels, so if this range doesn’t quite match your expectations, don’t let that hold you back — we’d still love to hear from you.
