Job Description

Position Summary:

This position is located in our Toronto office and will report directly to the Vice President, Investor Relations. The manager will be focused on supporting the Renewable Group’s publicly traded companies Brookfield Renewable Partners L.P and Brookfield Renewable Corporation (collectively “Brookfield Renewable”). This includes executing investor communication strategies and creating marketing materials, while ensuring consistency and alignment across the Brookfield ecosystem. The manager will have the opportunity to participate in a very dynamic, collaborative, and growing area within the business, interacting with Brookfield Renewable’s senior management team.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the communication of Brookfield Renewable’s key business strategies and results to members of the investment community, including institutional / retail investors, research analysts and other stakeholders

  • Monitor and report on research analyst investment ratings, target prices, earnings estimates and various other financial and operating metrics

  • Support the development and maintenance of marketing materials such as investor presentations and fact sheets, as well as website and conference call disclosure

  • Collaborate with other investor relations groups across Brookfield

  • Organize and co-ordinate marketing activities, including the preparation of materials for investor conferences and marketing road shows

  • Provide existing and prospective investor intelligence, which includes tracking investor relations activity

  • Conduct trading, market and peer analysis for the board and senior management

  • Manage the production and issuance of Brookfield Renewable press releases

  • Support other various investor relations initiatives as required

Requirements:

  • Minimum of three years of related experience, with a demonstrated financial acumen

  • An undergraduate degree in Business, Finance or Accounting

  • Preference will be given to candidates with an accounting designation or CFA

  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to confidently interact with all levels of management and external investment professionals

  • Advanced proficiency with PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Bloomberg

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a proven ability to multi-task, prioritize and juggle multiple competing tasks and demands under tight deadlines
