Reporting to the Associate Director, HR Technology within the HR Innovation & Experience team, the Manager, HR Technology is a key contributor to the development of the HR Technology strategy. This role involves managing complex HR technology projects, driving continuous improvement and innovation, and developing and mentoring team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy Development: Contribute to the development of the HR Technology strategy by conducting in-depth analysis, understanding organizational goals, and aligning with the strategic direction of HR technology.
- Team Leadership: Coach and manage the performance and development of direct reports, including setting performance objectives, assessing impact, and providing feedback and coaching.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with key stakeholders across the organization. Build strong relationships, understand their needs, and effectively communicate HR technology strategies and initiatives.
- Project Management: Manage complex HR technology projects and programs, including project planning, timeline management, and risk assessment. Ensure successful project delivery within scope, budget, and timeline, while managing stakeholders' expectations and providing regular updates.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement and innovation in HR technology processes, systems, and practices by staying updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
- Optimization and Automation: Identify opportunities for optimization, automation, and process efficiencies, streamline workflows, and implement innovative solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or technology preferred.
- Minimum of 6+ years’ in-depth, progressive, hands-on configuration experience with Workday HCM, focusing on Recruitment, Talent, Performance, and Learning.
- Deep understanding of HR processes and workflows, including strong data analysis and reporting skills.
- Proven people leadership experience with the ability to mentor and coach team members.
- Strong continuous improvement mindset with critical thinking, proactive solutioning, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to translate complex technical ideas into everyday business language.
