Role
Franchise Growth & Enablement is seeking a Manager to build and run a comprehensive risk evaluation methodology for Specialty Merchant program. The responsibilities of this role will predominantly be:• Design and lead the development of a robust risk evaluation framework to identify and segment high-risk merchants, ensuring alignment with organizational risk appetite and regulatory standards. • Translate qualitative and quantitative risk indicators into measurable metrics, enabling consistent and scalable risk assessments across diverse merchant profiles. • Establish and oversee ongoing evaluation policies and procedures, ensuring they remain current, effective, and compliant with internal and external requirements. • Manage the execution of regular risk evaluations, maintaining a disciplined cadence to proactively monitor merchant risk and surface emerging trends. • Serve as a strategic partner to Risk, Compliance, and Legal teams, facilitating cross-functional collaboration to maintain a comprehensive and accurate view of merchant risk across all domains. • Utilize market intelligence, stakeholder feedback, and performance data to continuously enhance the risk framework, driving innovation and improving decision-making capabilities.
All About You
The ideal candidate for this position should:• Proven ability to develop and implement risk frameworks and policies in a complex, regulated environment. • Strong analytical skills with experience in quantitative risk modeling and data-driven decision-making. • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a track record of cross-functional collaboration. • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to merchant risk and compliance. • Proficiency in tools such as Excel, SQL, and data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI); experience with risk scoring models is a plus.• Proven experience and impact in strategy, execution, and project management• Ability to build trust and relationships among internal stakeholders• Capable of multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment• Strong Communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills • Excellent time management, planning and organizational skills• High efficiency using data to support thinking/ build recommendations• Payment or network payments experience preferred
