This role will play a key part in strengthening Fengate’s planning, forecasting, and performance reporting capabilities across the Infrastructure business. Reporting to the Associate Vice President, FP&A, the Manager will work closely with members of the Infrastructure business, including the Value Creation & Asset Management team (VCAM), Investments team, Investor Relations, and senior leadership, to support portfolio-level decision-making and value creation initiatives.

As a key member of the Infrastructure Finance team, this role will help strengthen Fengate’s best-in-class forecasting, budgeting, analytics, valuation, and reporting capabilities. The successful candidate will focus on quarterly valuations medium- and long-term investor return analysis and support financial planning and analysis, with a cash flow forecasting, KPI reporting, operating plan variance analysis, monthly financial dashboard packages, and selected VCAM and strategic finance initiatives across the portfolio to enable high-quality management reporting and decision support.

The successful candidate will bring strong financial modeling and valuation skills, be a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced setting, demonstrates strong ownership and accountability, is detail-oriented and process-oriented, and brings strong analytical, commercial, and problem-solving skills. They will be relied upon to manage and execute key strategic projects and complex analysis, with the ability to clearly explain the story behind the numbers to financial and non-financial stakeholders.


Requirements
  • Lead complex financial analysis, scenario modelling, and transaction-related support across acquisitions, financings, due diligence, and other strategic initiatives, including coordination with internal stakeholders and external advisors.
  • Coordinate quarterly and annual valuation processes, including valuation updates, supporting materials, reporting packages, and management of external valuators, as required.
  • Partner with the Value Creation & Asset Management team on portfolio initiatives, operating plan reviews, variance analysis, performance improvement opportunities, and asset-level decision support.
  • Liaise with Investor Relations to prepare investor information packages, respond to investor questions, and support medium- and long-term investor return analysis.
  • Oversee cash flow planning and identify opportunities to maximize investor returns.
  • Develop, enhance, and lead budgeting, forecasting, and dynamic levered cash flow models using inputs from key business partners.
  • Analyze KPI trends, budget-to-actual variances, revenue, expenses, and capital expenditures to support strategic and operating decisions.
  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting, forecasting, and planning processes through standardization, automation, and effective use of technology and AI-enabled tools.
  • Partner with Financial Reporting to enhance internal and external reporting, forecasting infrastructure, and presentation materials.
Key Qualifications
  • CPA, CFA, CBV, MBA, or equivalent designation preferred, with 4+ years of progressive experience in infrastructure, asset or fund management, pension/investment, valuation, advisory, or consulting environments.
  • Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills, with the ability to build robust models, perform complex analysis, and develop executive-ready recommendations.
  • Strong commercial acumen, including an understanding of investment risk factors, asset performance drivers, and value creation levers.
  • Strong judgment and ownership mindset, with the ability to manage competing priorities, solve problems, navigate ambiguity, and deliver accurate work under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, presentation, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex financial concepts into clear business language.
  • Experience with real assets and alternative investment portfolios is considered an asset.
