Job Description

The Manager, Data Solutions operates at the intersection of advanced analytics, data engineering, and people leadership. This role leads the design and delivery of scalable data solutions across client engagements and internal products while managing and mentoring members of the Data Solutions team. The role balances hands-on technical execution with workstream ownership, collaboration, and team development.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of data solution workstreams, from requirements gathering through development, deployment, and ongoing optimization using Python, SQL, and modern data platforms
  • Design and build analytic products such as data pipelines, integrations, dashboards, advanced analytics outputs, and AI-enabled solutions that support client and internal use cases
  • Manage and mentor Data Solutions team members, providing technical guidance, feedback, and career development support
  • Partner with Consultants, Project Managers, Strategists, Analysts, and Media teams to translate business questions into clear technical requirements and scalable solutions
  • Drive operational excellence through documentation, standardization, version control, and continuous improvement of tools and processes

Qualifications

Required:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in data solutions, data analytics, or data science, including ownership of end-to-end technical delivery
  • At least 1 year of people or workstream management experience, including mentoring or coaching junior team members
  • 3+ years of professional experience using Python and SQL to build, optimize, and maintain data pipelines or analytic solutions
  • Hands-on experience with modern data platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, and/or Microsoft Fabric in production environments
  • Experience working with healthcare or life sciences datasets, such as claims, PSP, access, formulary, specialty pharmacy, or large-scale clickstream data

Desired:

  • Comfort and enthusiasm for using AI as a regular part of how work gets done
  • Experience working with business intelligence tools such as Power BI and/or Tableau to deliver insights to non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, database design, and performance optimization in analytics environments
  • Experience working in consulting or agency environments supporting multiple stakeholders or client engagements
  • Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field

Additional Information

The base salary range for this position is between CAD $105,000 - $125,000. The base salary for this position will be determined based on several factors such as a candidate's work location, their unique skill set, education, and prior work experience.
