Reporting to the President, Bed Bath & Beyond, the Manager, Content Marketing will support Bed Bath & Beyond Canada’s marketing efforts by crafting compelling marketing strategies that support the elevated brand identity of Bed Bath & Beyond Canada, while also highlighting our value proposition and supporting our customer journeys.  

You’ll work in a multi-faceted role by managing and coordinating the content creation process with the goal of delivering consistently high-quality content that performs across our various marketing channels, including Meta, TikTok, YouTube, Google Display, and Out-of-Home.

In this role you will:

  • Establish content marketing strategies that help to support Bed, Bath & Beyond Canada’s brand identity
  • Own content pillars, themes and consistent messaging frameworks and brand story across campaigns and channels
  • Lead, coach, and manage direct reports (including Graphic Designer and Copywriter) to support career development, engagement and growth
  • Create and oversee high-quality content across all channels that builds awareness and drives adoption
  • Manage the editorial calendar and ensure consistent, timely content delivery
  • Partner with broader marketing team on campaign planning and road-mapping
  • Maintain a strong understanding of customer insights and current trends to inform content themes and messaging
  • Work with the merchandising team and key suppliers to build category and/or product messaging
  • Collaborate with the performance marketing team to monitor the performance of content and apply recommendations based on performance trends
  • Develop and deliver post-mortem analysis reports for every major marketing campaign
  • Provide clear direction, recommendations and feedback for creative designs 
  • Monitor monthly objectives to ensure that team members are on track to achieve or exceed their targets 

The Qualifications and Experience we like to see:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, a relevant field or experience demonstrated by progressive responsibilities 
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in content marketing and leading or managing a team; experience within a D2C brand or retail environment is a strong asset
  • Proven experience writing compelling content with a portfolio that reflects clarity, engagement and persuasive storytelling across a range of formats
  • Demonstrated ability to both conceptualize and execute creative ideas with a hands‑on, roll‑up‑your‑sleeves approach
  • Hands-on proficiency with Shopify, CMS platforms (i.e., WordPress), Google Analytics, social media scheduling tools, as well as social and digital marketing platforms
  • Working knowledge of graphic design principles with hands-on experience using tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar
  • High attention to detail, storytelling instincts, and strong editorial judgment
  • Exceptional organizational, planning, project management, written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to cross-collaborate with multiple departments
  • Ability to perform under pressure and manage competing priorities with tight deadlines
  • Understanding of marketing and brand strategy and ROI/KPI evaluation
  • A passionate marketer with an aptitude for strategy, storytelling and performance

Additional Information

This is a current open position.  The salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 annually.  Actual salary for the role may vary depending on work location of the successful candidate and other factors including but not limited to, skills, education, experience, working conditions and the local labour market.
