Job Description:

Join a dynamic team focused on enhancing colleague well-being. As part of the Retirement, Benefits & Well-being (RBW) team within Total Rewards, you will support programs that help colleagues stay physically, mentally, financially, and socially well.

Role Overview

The Manager, Communications & Engagement leads planning and execution of integrated communications to help colleagues understand the Retirement, Benefits & Well-being programs in Canada. The role blends strategic communications, change management, and employee engagement, with accountability for delivering clear and simple messaging that supports our goals and meet TD's standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end RBW communications strategy, planning, and execution, including ownership of the communications calendar and performance insights

  • Manage multiple annual cycles and communications initiatives for colleagues and external audiences and make sure all events and key messages are coordinated

  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and partners on communication strategy, overall messaging, and approach

  • Create leadership communications, including speaking notes and presentations

  • Develop and deliver clear and engaging communications (including storytelling and visual content) across multiple channels, simplifying complicated information to help colleagues understand our programs

  • Design and lead information sessions and webinars to drive engagement and increase adoption of RBW programs

  • Build strong relationships with key partners to improve how we communicate, and coordinate across teams to ensure aligned and consistent messaging

  • Ensure quality, governance, and compliance, including managing review and approval processes

  • Measure effectiveness and look for ways to continuously improve communications using data and feedback

What you bring

  • University degree with 7+ years of related experience, or a mix of education and experience that shows similar knowledge

  • Strong skills in writing, speaking, and presenting, with the ability to simplify complex information

  • Comfortable speaking to senior leaders and large groups

  • Strong consulting and relationship-building skills across teams and levels

  • Ability to manage several priorities and deliver on deadlines

  • Strong attention to detail and understanding of risk and compliance requirements

  • Ability to think strategically and execute effectively

  • Strong skills using Microsoft Office and TD tools like TD Central (SharePoint) and Viva Engage
