Your Moneris Career - The Opportunity

You will oversee and be accountable for Distribution partner relationship management across Canada. Managing a team of Account Managers, Relationship Managers, and Channel Support Managers, you will work directly with stakeholders to offer and negotiate pricing packages, processing solutions, acquisition and lifecycle management programs, designed to grow and retain these important segments. Furthermore, this role is measured by increasing Moneris merchant base and meeting established targets for the organization.

Location: You will be based in our Etobicoke office, balancing in-office collaboration with remote flexibility.

Reporting Relationship: You will report to Director, Account Manager-Partnerships

Your Moneris Career - What you'll do
  • Meet established revenue & service goals within the Partner segment, managing the relationship with strategic partnerships to drive organizational growth and mutual success.
  • Lead and provide support, motivation and guidance to the team to increase revenue, profitability and drive leads to sales.
  • Understand partner goals, strategies and challenges to identify opportunities for alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Partner with and assist the Director, Account Management, Partnerships, to identify potential opportunities for strategic relationships to implement growth strategies to increase revenues and market share.
  • Monitor and keep the best interests of the organization and existing partner portfolio in mind in consideration of the prospects being pursued.
  • Collaborate with the Business Development team and provide relevant data and insights to assist the sales process in executing strategies to identify and qualify new opportunities aligned to the existing partner base.
  • Responsible for the design, planning and implementation of programs and activities designed to target key partners and to generate profitable growth in the segment.
  • Together with internal stakeholders, responsible for forecasting and assessing the current and future state of the channel. This will include, but not be limited to the development of channel reporting and metrics to measure success and identifying trends and areas of improvement (and thereafter assisting to design the required improvements and implementing them).
  • Monitor Partner performance through key metrics and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Anticipate potential challenges in partnerships and propose proactive solutions to help resolve potential conflicts.
  • Oversee the negotiation, execution, and renewal of partner agreements, ensuring terms are mutually beneficial.
Your Moneris Career - What you bring
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business/ Commence or a related field is preferred.
  • Equivalent work experience may be considered a substitution
  • 10+ years in a Sales Environment with at least 5 years of previous Partner Relationship Management experience with a proven record of sales target accomplishment.
  • Minimum 5 years of previous experience leading a team.
  • Multiple years of experience managing external partnerships in a B2B environment.
  • Experience with sales, marketing, and business development processes.
  • Previous experience in the payment industry considered an asset
