Job Description:

We are seeking a strong Mainframe Developer / Lead to develop, test, debug, deploy, and support enterprise mainframe applications. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, and CICS, along with experience in application testing, production deployment, troubleshooting, and post-deployment stabilization. The role will involve analyzing application issues, resolving defects, supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT), collaborating with business and technical stakeholders, and participating in implementation activities. The candidate will also be responsible for leading and mentoring offshore development teams and contributing to application modernization and continuous improvement initiatives. Experience with healthcare applications, healthcare workflows, and claims adjudication is preferred, along with strong communication, problem-solving, and technical leadership skills. This is a remote W2 contract opportunity within the United States.
