Position Overview

We are hiring several Machine Learning Engineers for our Platform Services & Emerging Technologies (PSET) org to work on our Data Platform team. You will partner with architects, developers and operations teams frequently to achieve best outcomes.

Preference for candidates in Toronto, ON, or Vancouver, BC.

Responsibilities  

  • Collaborate with other engineers to develop data pipelines and architectures, and support tasks related to data collection, storage, processing, and analysis

  • Write code for model training, testing, and deployment

  • Monitor and troubleshoot machine learning models to ensure accuracy and performance

  • Perform requirements analysis, working with team members of different levels and documenting solutions

  • Work with large-scale data sets and manage data flow between systems

  • Communicate your findings through quantitative data analysis and qualitative visuals and insights

  Minimum Qualifications  

  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science other related field or equivalent work experience  

  • 4+ years hands-on experience developing scalable, customer facing web and software applications

  • Proven experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs), Kubernetes, Kuberay, Sagemaker

  • Experience with machine learning in the form of building and deploying models

  • Experience working with and integrating chatbot related APIs

  • Experience with Java, Javascript, Python, Go, RDBMS databases (MySQL, Postgres, Aurora, or similar)

  • Experience deploying apps in AWS or similar cloud infrastructure  

  • Experience with XML/JSON, designing and building REST web services 

  • Experience designing & implementing highly scalable and highly available distributed systems  

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with data science or working in a Data Scientist capacity

  • Experience working with datasets in a large-cap SaaS company

  • Integrating chatbots into SaaS products

Salary transparency

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For Canada-BC based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $106,500 and $156,200. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
