The M365 Platform & Power Environment Engineer is responsible for the health, integrity, and evolution of the enterprise Microsoft 365 environment—including identity, collaboration services, messaging integration, and platform security—while also leading the build‑out and governance of the Power Platform ecosystem (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, Power Platform environments, and Dataverse). You will engineer and operationalize core M365 services while enabling a scalable, secure, and compliant Power Platform foundation aligned with enterprise standards.

This role is central to the modernization of M365 services and the expansion of Power Platform capabilities that support automation, app development, AI‑enabled experiences, and business innovation.

Key Responsibilities

M365 Platform Engineering & Operations

  • Own and manage the full M365 ecosystem, including SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Exchange Online, and identity/security integrations with on‑prem Active Directory and Entra ID
  • Ensure platform reliability, availability, tenant hygiene, configuration currency, and alignment with enterprise security and compliance policies.
  • Lead Tier‑3 level engineering tasks, service hardening, integration enablement, and support migrations or onboarding of workloads to M365.
  • Partner with cross‑functional teams for service integrations, identity dependencies, messaging flows, and connector governance across M365 workloads.

Power Platform Engineering & Environment Build‑Out

  • Design, build, and maintain Power Platform environments (Dev/Test/Prod), including Dataverse‑enabled environments, in alignment with M365 Engineering standards
  • Define and maintain naming conventions, environment architecture, security groups, provisioning workflows, and lifecycle management processes.
  • Implement AI‑enabled or Copilot‑related features where appropriate, following environment configuration practices
  • Govern connectors, DLP policy alignment, permissioning, environment boundary controls, and support intake processes for new environments and solutions.
  • Partner with business and citizen developers to safely scale Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse usage.
  • Support Power Platform operations in line with resourcing functions for PowerApps/Power Platform support

Security, Governance & Compliance

  • Implement and maintain Power Platform governance (security, DLP, connector access, licensing alignment, audit requirements).
  • Collaborate with security, architecture, and governance forums (SA/ADRC, TDRC, etc.) to ensure environments meet internal standards.
  • Maintain compliance with change‑control processes, environment certifications, and enterprise documentation requirements.

Automation, Integration & Modernization

  • Build reusable frameworks, templates, and integrations supporting automation initiatives across the bank.
  • Partner with teams enabling Copilot and AI scenarios by ensuring the M365 and Power Platform foundations are robust and well‑governed.
  • Contribute engineering expertise for platform‑wide modernization initiatives (identity, lifecycle management, M365 logs centralization, COE toolkit optimization) as highlighted in.

Required Qualifications

  • 4–7 years of experience in M365 platform engineering (SharePoint Online, Teams, Exchange Online, OneDrive, Entra ID).
  • Strong hands‑on experience with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, environment setup, DLP policies, connector architecture).
  • Familiarity with environment provisioning workflows, security groups, licensing models, and ServiceNow intake processes.
  • Strong understanding of identity, conditional access, and M365 security baselines.
  • Experience managing enterprise‑scale tenants, integrations, and governance models.
  • Ability to work across technical and business teams, driving standards, clarity, and secure design principles.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience implementing or supporting Copilot and AI‑enabled M365 workloads.
  • Knowledge of Power App governance, Power Platform COE toolkit, or Dynamics 365 integration.
  • Experience with scripting (PowerShell, Graph API) and automation frameworks.
  • Microsoft certifications (MS‑100, MS‑102, PL‑200, PL‑400).
