Job Summary:

The Learning and Development Coordinator will support the CSA Academy team to provide advice, assist with the planning, execution, administration, launch and analysis of a variety of Learning and & Development (L&D) initiatives, projects and development programs.  This role has responsibility for Learning Management System (LMS) administration (including the global learning calendar; learning event creation, tracking and approval; L&D report generation and data analysis; uploading and distribution of e-learning content to target groups globally).  This role is expected to provide recommendations and suggestions for use of the LMS & Certification modules to maximize L&D efforts.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assists with the development, design, implementation and administration of L&D programs.
  • Responsible for the development of the learning and certification modules and ongoing maintenance of the LMS
  • Responsible for remaining current with the system capabilities and keeping up-to-date with all quarterly system updates, including advising of impact of system enhancements on the Learning and Certifications modules.
  • Responsible for investigation of and development of reporting and analytic capabilities for Learning and Certification modules.
  • Assists with producing reports, presentations and learning materials for Learning and Development programs and initiatives.
  • Uses corporate LMS to maintain learning records, reports, evaluations and learning effectiveness measures.
  • Plans and coordinates learning events and provides support for Learning and Development programs and initiatives (pre and post learning).
  • Provides administrative and on-site support for L&D Programs and Initiatives, including facility, catering, travel and accommodation arrangements, AV requirements and learning materials.
  • Creates and maintains learning materials.

Preferred Education & Experience:

  • Post-Secondary education in Adult Education or Human Resources. 
  • 3-5 years of experience in Learning and Development Coordination (event planning, coordination, logistics and LMS management and data reporting and analysis).
  • Foundational understanding of principles of Needs Analysis, Instructional Design and Learning Technologies.  
  • Extensive knowledge of Learning Management Systems and Learning Technologies – Workday and CSOD experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of computer applications such as Captivate or Articulate, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and Basic Windows as well as Visio process mapping, Microsoft Teams and other training media.
  • Excellent project planning and execution ability.
  • Excellent time management skills.

The typical hiring range for this position is $67,970- $89,208 CAD gross annually. The actual base pay offered will depend on factors such as education, licenses, certifications and experience. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
