At Community Sports Partners we provide fun, engaging experiences, creating lasting memories for the youth in our communities! We are looking for a passionate and driven League Coordinator to manage logistics and operations within our sports leagues. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and enhancing our market presence within the sports sector. You will play a key role in hunting, identifying and driving growth.

The ideal candidate will be experienced in business development and passionate about youth sports and community engagement. They will be bold, motivated by challenges, and driven to have an impact.


Requirements
  • Plan, organize, and oversee all aspects of assigned leagues.
  • Creating or managing schedules for practices, games, and events.
  • Tracking results, statistics, and sometimes marketing/promotion of leagues.
  • Coordinate field/court set-up, equipment management, and clean-up.
  • Manage player registrations, rosters, schedules.
  • Ensure games run on time, rules are followed, and safety protocols are enforced.
  • Being present on-site to manage and oversee games.
  • Handling last-minute issues (weather, missing refs, coach no-shows, conflicts).
  • Serve as the main point of contact for parents, coaches, referees, and players.
  • Answer questions and provide timely updates on schedules, rules, and league policies.
  • Handle conflicts or concerns professionally and fairly.
  • Build strong relationships with families and foster a positive community atmosphere.
  • Substituting in as a coach or referee if needed.
  • Recruit, schedule, and supervise referees, coaches, and support staff.
  • Train staff/coaches on league rules, expectations, and safety procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of registrations, waivers, schedules, and results.
  • Handling/ordering uniforms, equipment,  trophies, and supplies.
  • Track and report on league participation and progress.
  • Support marketing and outreach efforts to promote leagues and recruit participants.

Requirements

  • Experience in sports  management, youth programming, and/or coaching.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Excellent communication and conflict-resolution abilities.
  • Energetic, outgoing, and comfortable working with children and families.
  • Requires good physical stamina (lots of moving, carrying equipment, being outdoors, being on your feet for extended periods).
  • Outgoing, approachable, and good under pressure
  • Reliable transportation and ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • CPR/First Aid certification (preferred).
