We’re looking for a Lead Technical Content Writer who combines QA/engineering expertise with strong communication skills and on-camera confidence. This role goes beyond writing. You’ll shape our technical voice, ensure accuracy across all materials, and represent the brand publicly through video content.

About testRigor

testRigor is an AI-powered test automation platform built to make end-to-end testing faster, more reliable, and accessible to teams without engineering expertise. We help engineering and QA teams ship with confidence by reducing test maintenance, simplifying test creation, and eliminating brittle test scripts.

We’re growing quickly and expanding our marketing team to match that momentum. Marketing at testRigor isn’t disconnected from the product - it’s deeply technical, hands-on, and closely aligned with engineering. We focus on educating the market, building trust with technical audiences, and setting a high bar for accuracy and clarity.

You’ll be joining a collaborative, fast-moving team that values ownership, clear thinking, and strong execution. If you enjoy translating complex ideas into compelling content and want to play a visible role in a growing AI company, this is the place to do it.

What You’ll Do

Content Creation & Strategy

  • Own the creation of high-quality technical content: blog posts, guides, whitepapers, case studies, and scripts
  • Translate complex QA and engineering concepts into clear, engaging content
  • Develop and maintain a consistent technical voice across platforms
  • Analyze content performance and continuously improve topics, formats, and messaging

Video & Public Presence

  • Record educational and thought leadership videos for YouTube, LinkedIn, TikTok, and other platforms
  • Present confidently on camera (no editing required - production support provided)
  • Turn previously written content into video-first content where appropriate

Technical Accuracy & Quality Control

  • Perform quality checks on all technical content
  • Review, edit, and refine written materials to ensure technical accuracy and brand consistency
  • Validate examples, workflows, and claims from an engineering perspective

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Lead and mentor a team of content writers
  • Provide structured feedback and raise the quality bar across the team
  • Work closely with multiple departments to align messaging with product capabilities
  • Help define the technical content roadmap
How to Apply

If this role sounds like a fit, we’d love to see your work and understand how you think.

To move forward, please include the following:

  • 3–5 technical writing samples (preferably focused on QA, engineering, or developer tools)
  • Links to any video content where you present on camera
    • If you don’t have one, record a short 2–3 minute video introducing yourself and explaining a QA or testing concept
  • A brief note (300–500 words) outlining how you would improve our current technical content and what you would prioritize in your first 60 days
  • A short summary of your QA/engineering background, including the types of systems, tools, or teams you’ve worked with

We’re looking for someone who takes ownership, holds a high quality bar, and is comfortable being both the technical authority and the public voice of the brand.

If that’s you, apply and show us how you think.

RequirementsWhat We’re Looking For
  • Senior-level content writing experience with a solid portfolio of technical content
  • Strong background in QA and engineering (hands-on experience required)
  • Deep understanding of software testing concepts, tools, and best practices
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable and confident speaking on camera
  • Experience leading or mentoring a team
  • Ability to analyze performance metrics and iterate strategically
  • Strong attention to detail and high standards for accuracy
Nice to Have
  • Experience building a technical brand or growing a content channel
  • SEO knowledge and content distribution experience
  • Familiarity with developer-focused audiences
