As a Signal and Power-Integrity (SIPI) lead in the Packaging team, you will collaborate with team members and cross-functional experts to define SIPI architecture and optimize package design for Tenstorrent’s chiplet-based products
This role is hybrid ideally based out of Toronto but we are also open to hiring in Austin, TX and Ottawa, Canada.

Responsibilities:
- Establish workflows and best practices for SIPI analysis.
- Provide architectural insights to improve package and product-level designs.
- Lead feasibility studies to guide product definitions.
- Collaborate with teams across Silicon Architecture, PCB, and System Integration to develop accurate simulation models.
- Drive innovation through cross-functional partnerships in technology development.
- Conduct SIPI analyses using industry-standard tools (e.g., Ansys SI-Wave, HFSS-3D-layout).
- Mentor and support junior engineers to foster a culture of growth and learning.
Experience & Qualifications:
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in SIPI analysis of high-power electronics
- Strong fundamental understanding of SIPI concepts
- Familiarity with ANSYS and cadence tools
- Experience in VR/IVR modeling and design is a plus
- Experience in pre-layout modeling and analysis is a plus
- Ability to break complex problems into smaller problems and solve them
- Ability to deal with ambiguity and changing requirements and to come up with creative solutions
- Strong cross-functional communication and collaboration
- Ability to initiate investigations and drive cross-functional developments
