What you’ll do & Who you are
We are looking for a Lead software Quality Engineer to join our team. Reporting to the DevOps Manager, you will conduct tests and analysis to make sure our products exceed our customer expectations. This role has a hybrid working model, where you will meet your colleagues in our modern office in downtown Toronto.
Who you are
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance roles, with strong experience in both manual and automated testing.
- Proven experience as a Lead Quality Engineer, with a focus on implementing and managing quality strategy at an enterprise company.
- In-depth knowledge of testing principles, practices, and technologies
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
What you'll do
- In this role you will be responsible for developing and implementing test strategies to ensure high-quality releases, and a high-quality product.
- Oversee manual and automated testing across Kijiji development teams.
- Lead and mentor QA team members, providing guidance on best practices, test methodologies and overall quality strategy.
- Work with stakeholders to define and implement quality metrics and be accountable for KPIs to measure and improve product quality.
- Collaborate closely with development, product, and platform teams to review requirements, design tests, and deliver quality products.
