As our Lead QA, you will be the guardian of the player experience. You aren’t just looking for crashes; you are ensuring that every feature meets the high standards players expect. You’ll own the quality vision for our new Angry Birds Match team! You'll connect the dots across development, design, and external teams, ensuring millions of players worldwide get the polished, joyful experience we promise. You are natural in communication with the different crafts in the team as well as with our external QA partners. You have both the technical expertise to find deeply hidden issues and the leadership to drive quality across the team.

If you are inspired by refining and owning the QA processes in our game team in Espoo, Finland - we would love to talk to you!

You will have impact and fun at work by:

  • Designing and leading the QA strategy and processes for our new match 3 game, ensuring we hold the line on quality from the earliest design stages through live operations.
  • Collaborating closely with our incredible in-house team—including designers, developers, and artists—and managing our relationships with external testing partners to ensure we’re all aligned and effective.
  • Working together with our SDET to champion AI-assisted QA workflows, helping us make testing smarter and more efficient.
  • Getting hands-on: you'll be identifying, reviewing, and verifying bug fixes, creating new test cases, and continually finding issues that others might overlook.
  • Assuring the joy of our players by validating LiveOps events, game content, and configurations before they go live.
  • Providing essential input on QA resourcing and budgeting, as well as assisting in all game submission and release activities.

Experience and skills we are looking for:

  • You have prior experience as a Lead QA or in a similar role, and you're comfortable leading quality efforts independently in a large project.
  • You're an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills, allowing you to connect effectively across cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • You’re experienced in setting up successful collaboration models with external QA, including resource planning and understanding vendor cost management.
  • You come to us with a working understanding of the mobile games or services space, and you pay close attention to detail in your work.
  • You have hands-on experience using essential bug tracking and version control software, like Git, Jira, and Jenkins.

It would be nice if you also have the following skills:

  • Prior experience with Unity or automated testing tools.

You'll work in a hybrid setup with two to three days at the office per week. Kindly send us your CV in English. We look forward to speaking to you!
