Join a team of passionate thinkers, innovators, and dreamers — and help us connect people and build communities to create economic opportunity for all.

About the team and role:

Every day, millions of people come to eBay to discover unique inventory, grow businesses, find value, and connect through commerce. Delivering those experiences requires coordination across the products, platforms, operations, policies, and teams that support each stage of the buying, selling, and shipping journey.

We’re looking for a Lead Product Program Manager to drive high-impact, cross-functional programs across key areas of the marketplace. This role will focus on initiatives that span seller and buyer experiences, shipping capabilities, platform integration, compliance workflows, and marketplace growth.

In this role, you’ll work closely with Product, Engineering, Operations, Support, Compliance, and regional partners to bring structure to complex work, align teams around shared priorities, and move critical programs from planning through delivery. You’ll help connect strategy with execution across a large, global organization while driving outcomes that improve the eBay marketplace for customers. While technical fluency is important, this role focuses on product delivery, organizational alignment, and business outcomes rather than technical ownership.

What you will accomplish:
  • Drive strategic cross-functional programs spanning marketplace growth, seller and buyer experiences, shipping capabilities, and global commerce initiatives.

  • Bring structure and momentum to complex initiatives by defining plans, aligning stakeholders, and driving decisions that keep work moving forward.

  • Partner with Product and Engineering leaders to connect roadmap priorities with delivery plans, sequencing, and execution strategy.

  • Build scalable planning, dependency management, launch readiness, executive reporting and communication practices that improve execution across multiple teams.

  • Manage dependencies and tradeoffs across products, platforms, functions, regions, and time zones.

  • Identify risks early, navigate obstacles, and keep complex initiatives moving forward when priorities, timelines, or requirements shift.

  • Lead steering committees and executive communications, including leadership updates, recommendations, narratives, and decision materials.

  • Identify opportunities to improve planning, launch execution, and operational effectiveness across product and platform initiatives.

What you will bring:
  • 7+ years of program management experience leading large-scale product or technology programs and driving multi-quarter or multi-year initiatives across Product, Engineering, Operations, and business partners.

  • Background in ecommerce, marketplaces, consumer technology, logistics, trust, compliance, or large-scale platform ecosystems.

  • Hands-on involvement in large-scale product integrations, platform evolution, operating model change, or multi-team product expansion.

  • Strong product and technical proficiency, including software delivery, APIs, platform dependencies, system capabilities, and architectural tradeoffs.

  • Deep understanding of product development lifecycles, planning processes, and program governance.

  • Experience designing and implementing scalable operating rhythms, planning mechanisms, Program ownership across several teams, and decision-making frameworks.

  • Success working across distributed teams, global partners, and multiple time zones, with strong executive communication and influencing skills.
