As Lead Product Manager (Close & Consolidation), you will drive the strategy and execution of our financial consolidation capabilities, ensuring Prophix helps CFOs and finance teams succeed in complex consolidation and reporting environments. Reporting to the Vice President, Product Management, you will serve as both a domain expert and product leader, guiding product managers, designers, and engineers within the Product Operating Model. You will be accountable for ensuring that our empowered product teams continuously solve meaningful problems for finance leaders, delivering measurable outcomes in usability, accuracy, and speed of processes.

What You Will Do

Product Strategy & Outcomes

• Define and evolve the strategy for the Close & Consolidation portfolio of the Prophix One Financial Performance Platform, grounded in customer needs and market dynamics.
• Translate customer jobs-to-be-done into product outcomes, ensuring features deliver measurable value.
• Manage the product line profit & loss statement.
• Partner with Product Design and Engineering to shape discovery, prioritize opportunities, and deliver solutions.

 Customer & Market Leadership

• Serve as the internal subject-matter expert for your area of Prophix One - consolidation and close processes.
• Engage with finance and accounting leaders to understand their workflows, pain points, and aspirations, bringing insights into product discovery.
• Stay ahead of regulatory, market, and technology trends in your area and embed them into the roadmap.

 Team Leadership

• Mentor and coach product managers, ensuring empowered teams are customer-obsessed and outcome-driven.
• Provide clarity on priorities, outcomes, and trade-offs across multiple scrum teams.
• Collaborate across sales, marketing, and customer success to ensure alignment from roadmap through to adoption.

 Execution & Measurement

• Establish and track key success metrics for the capabilities in your area of Prophix One.
• Ensure empowered teams maintain a balance of discovery and delivery, making iterative improvements based on user feedback and analytics.
• Drive accountability for outcomes, not just output, across teams

Required Qualifications

• Multiple years of experience in finance or accounting, with direct exposure with direct exposure to consolidation and close processes.
• 8+ years of product management experience in SaaS or enterprise applications, specifically within the Office of the CFO domain.
• Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and mentoring product managers.
• Strong knowledge of concepts related to your area of Prophix One. Specifically, financial consolidation concepts (multi-entity, multi-currency, ownership structures), lease accounting and account reconciliation.
• Track record of outcome-based delivery in complex product environments.
• Strong communication skills with ability to engage executive and non-technical audiences.
• Customer-centric mindset and passion for solving finance leaders’ problems.

• A mix of experience, training, or education that helps you succeed in this role.
• Comfort using AI tools responsibly to support tasks such as research, drafting, or data review
• Ability to learn new tools and adapt as technology evolves
• Curiosity and openness to exploring new approaches
• Collaborative mindset when working with teams and technology

• Experience with SaaS and cloud-native platforms.
• Exposure to AI-enabled solutions in finance or accounting.
• Experience scaling product organizations and operating in global teams.

Compensation
The salary range for this role is $173,000 CAD to $200,000 CAD, in accordance with applicable pay transparency laws in Canada and the United States. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as skills, experience, location, and internal equity.
