About the team and the role:

We are looking for a Lead Product Manager to join the Identity team and help build the next phase of eBay’s Identity as a Service (IDaaS) strategy and new account experiences for emerging customer cohorts. As eBay expands beyond its core marketplace, our Identity systems continue to evolve to support seamless, secure experiences across eBay properties, subsidiaries, and partners.

Your work will influence how users move across the eBay ecosystem, how new properties integrate faster, and how trust, privacy, and compliance are consistently upheld at scale.

What you will accomplish:

  • Defining product direction and driving outcomes that enable connected, secure identity experiences across core and non-core eBay properties (e.g. subsidiaries).

  • Own and evolve product strategy for key IDaaS initiatives aligned with eBay’s broader ecosystem vision

  • Drive clarity on product goals, sequencing, and tradeoffs across multiple identity use cases and customers

  • Partner closely with engineering, security, privacy, legal, trust, and business teams to deliver shared identity outcomes

  • Balance flexibility and standardization to support diverse adoption models across subsidiaries and partners

  • Use data, customer input, and business context to prioritize work and measure impact

  • Represent both end users and platform consumers, ensuring identity experiences are trusted, compliant, and easy to adopt globally

What you will bring:

  • 10+ years of product management experience, ideally in Identity, Platform, Security, or Trust domains.

  • Strong product judgment and experience operating in complex, multi-stakeholder environments

  • Comfort working on horizontal products used by multiple teams or business units

  • Proven technical proficiency and ability to collaborate optimally with senior engineering partners

  • Experience delivering products in global, regulated, or high-trust environments

  • Clear communicator who can operate at both strategy and execution levels.

  • Demonstrated leadership ability, self-motivated and directed, entrepreneurial ability to innovate quickly
