As a Lead Product Designer for the AI Team, you will craft successful, meaningful products that help thousands of developers deliver better applications to their users, faster.

The Lead Product Designer Role

The lead product designer will create the end-to-end user experience for a new developer-focused AI product. This role aims to elevate design while ensuring functionality and quality.

You will work with our fast-paced AI team, balancing design with quick iterations. The goal of this team is to learn from iteration and feedback to find product market fit.

Candidates should have experience in AI, developer tools, or similar products. You should be skilled in using data analytics, user testing, and research to guide design decisions and support users from discovery to engagement.

Our designers value empathy and teamwork, collaborating effectively with diverse groups. We make design decisions based on data and research and actively incorporate feedback to deliver the best designs for our customers.

The team

This key role offers an opportunity to contribute to a new AI product by collaborating across our design organization, including visual design, product design, and research. Additionally, you will work closely with the AI product team, which includes engineers, a product manager, and leadership.

What were looking for

This is a key role with the opportunity to contribute holistically to improving the experience of our product for users.

  • 7+ years of design experience 
  • The ability to translate complex technical flows into simple experiences to help users comprehend and progress in the adoption of our product
  • Ability to think through sophisticated user problems, propose solutions, mock them up in detail, and work with engineering to build them
  • Communicate design clearly, regardless of the audience
  • Ability to collaborate with a team across multiple time zones
  • A portfolio of work that shows sophisticated and creative UX solutions to technical issues and a proven grasp of information architecture.
  • Experience with Lean UX methodologies
  • Familiarity with AI 

Nice to have

  • Experience designing for AI flows
  • Previous SaaS, enterprise, or developer tools work a huge plus


Canada Base Pay Range

$111,300$141,000 CAD
