We are searching for the best talent for a Lead Financial Analyst, FP&A to be in Markham, ON.

Purpose: The Lead Financial Analyst will oversee the creation and delivery of business performance reports and conduct analyses of the P&L, Balance Sheet, and Free Cash Flow statements for the Canada HMT business unit within MedTech. This role involves leading financial reporting, forecast cycles, managing quarterly closes, and implementing process improvements and standardization in alignment with SigniFi initiatives.

You will be responsible for:

  • Prepare and present financial results to leadership, focusing on crafting key messages for an executive audience
  • Consolidate, challenge, and present Actual and Plan financial statements with the ability to effectively communicate business drivers and insights
  • Develop a detailed cross functional calendar and set deliverables for forecast and close cycles, facilitating communication and coordination within the broader Finance team
  • Manage potential risks for supported businesses, coordinating solutions that optimize growth while ensuring compliance with income commitments.
  • Active leadership in building FP&A organization and culture, including roadmap for moving broader MedTech Finance forward on the SigniFi journey. Drive efforts to enhance efficiency by shaping and leading system implementations, process standardization, and automation of reporting and analytical tasks.
  • Influence business decisions through thorough analysis to achieve and surpass financial commitments outlined in business and strategic plans.

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required, preferably with a major in Accounting, Economics or Finance. Master’s/MBA degree preferred. A CPA, CMA or other financial certifications are preferred
  • A minimum of 5 years of finance, accounting or related business experience is required.
  • Knowledge of MedTech business is preferred
  • TM1/Anaplan experience is preferred
  • Proven track record of leadership experience managing and developing people is preferred
  • Strong communication, framing presentation skill along with solid interpersonal, negotiating and influencing skills is required
  • The ability to partner & work independently with associates at all levels of the organization, including interacting with senior management, and operate in a highly complex environment and handling multiple tasks simultaneously is required
  • This position may require up to 5% domestic travel
