Who Are We Looking For
As Lead Contract Administrator, you provide oversight during the construction phase, ensuring the successful delivery of projects from design intent through completion. Working collaboratively with the Project Manager and project team, you align on-site execution with studio standards, client objectives, and contractual requirements. You engage early and throughout the project lifecycle, contributing to reviews that enhance constructability, quality, and efficiency. You navigate complex project dynamics with a proactive and solution-oriented approach, maintaining clear communication between the site and studio to uphold project integrity and exceed client expectations. What You Will Do:
- Lead the project team during the contract administration phase, providing direction and guidance to ensure deliverables are accurate, complete, and aligned with design intent and project requirements.
- Oversee submittal reviews, RFI (Request for Information) and change management, payment certification, project closeout, and active participation in OAC (Owner Architect Contractor) meetings.
- Conduct site visits to perform limited general reviews, deficiency walkthroughs, and occupancy reviews.
- Act as the primary point of contact during the contract administration phase for clients, contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the Project Manager to establish a comprehensive work plan, monitor and manage project financials during the construction phase.
- Create a supportive and engaging environment offering guidance and constructive feedback to your team, ensuring they are well-equipped with the resources and direction needed to successfully meet project deliverables.
What You Will Bring:
- Diploma/Bachelor's/Master's degree from an accredited institution in Architecture.
- 8+ years of experience in managing projects from inception to completion with a focus on the contract administration phase.
- Proficiency in Revit, Bluebeam, and MS Office Suite
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and effective problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a hybrid role, with 3 days in our studio.
What We Will Provide:
The expected gross annual base salary range for this position is $115,000 to $125,000. Final compensation is determined based on experience, skills, and internal equity.
