Our Google Marketing Platform (GMP) Operating Unit is seeking an experienced and dynamic Analytics Lead to serve as a strategic and technical advisor for our analytics and media clients. This position is pivotal in strengthening our partnerships with Google and clients, requiring a strong commitment to delivering exceptional analytics and media solutions.
Information Security Responsibilities
- Promote and enforce awareness of key information security practices, including acceptable use of information assets, malware protection, and password security protocols
- Identify, assess, and report security risks, focusing on how these risks impact the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets
- Understand and evaluate how data is stored, processed, or transmitted, ensuring compliance with data privacy and protection standards (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
- Ensure data protection measures are integrated throughout the information lifecycle to safeguard sensitive information
Role and Responsibilities
- Lead analytics initiatives for GMP OU projects, ensuring successful project completion, high-quality deliverables, and thorough reviews
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, leading key discussions and workshops as the primary subject matter expert (SME)
- Serve as the first escalation point for project-related challenges, working alongside Project Management to identify pragmatic solutions - whether addressing client feedback or adjusting project timelines and budgets
- Proactively identify opportunities to expand client relationships by offering additional services and solutions
- Drive the expansion of GMP OU media initiatives to strengthen the partnership with Google and generate additional client revenue
- Serve as the go-to SME for Google Ads, DV360, CM360, and SA360, handling ad hoc client inquiries and requests
- Partner with the Senior Director of GMP Media Platforms to enhance media analytics offerings, develop business development materials, and create standard pricing estimates; train GMP OU SMEs on media analytics projects to retain work within GMP OU; define and implement the GMP OU go-to-market strategy and client support models; align current media clients with a self-service model or upsell them to a higher-tier support model with consulting hours; facilitate regular, high-impact client interactions, including Annual Business Reviews (ABRs), to align with client needs and drive expansion opportunities
- Collaborate with the Advanced Analytics practice and other GMP OU teams to develop strategies for expanding GCP capabilities within the organization
- Serve as a senior analytics and media consultant, delivering strategic insights and resolving ad hoc client requests efficiently
- Lead the development of project estimates and proposals for analytics and media services
- Exemplify strong consulting skills, effective communication, and diplomacy
- Clearly articulate complex ideas; tailor verbal and written communication to different audiences for maximum impact
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate technical and business challenges
- Exhibit intellectual agility, prioritizing tasks effectively and focusing on high-impact initiatives
- Take initiative by identifying opportunities, creating actionable plans, and driving them to completion
- Contribute to methodologies, best practices, and processes that elevate delivery quality, inspiring teams to achieve measurable success
- Engage with industry events, conferences, and open-source initiatives, while recommending training and certification programs to enhance team expertise
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Google Marketing Platform technologies, including GA4, GTM, and media platforms (Google Ads, DV360, CM360, SA360)
- Strong proficiency in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), particularly BigQuery, and experience with data modeling and SQL
- Hands-on experience with GA4/GTM strategy, implementation, QA, and documentation
- Expertise in troubleshooting GMP-related issues, such as data discrepancies, tracking errors, and integration challenges
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, media measurement, and attribution modeling
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
- Google Marketing Platform and Google Cloud certifications a plus
- Degree in IT, digital marketing analytics, related field, or equivalent experience preferred
