We are seeking a Lead Analyst for our Medtech Data team, part of Life Sciences and Healthcare segment, with a background in healthcare or life sciences and strong quantitative analysis skills. The ability to effectively collaborate with internal colleagues, including product managers, sales leaders and technical experts is required. This is a client facing and solutions-oriented role where demonstrated communication skills explaining complex ideas will be put to the test.
About You- experience, education, skills and accomplishments
- Minimum BS degree in engineering, mathematics, computer science
- Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience working with large data sets
- 2 years demonstrated analytical and problem-solving
- Must possess client engagement experience
- Experience with Excel and SQL databases
It would be nice if you have…
- Past or recent experience in pharmaceutical, medtech or medical devices
- Real world data experience (claims, EHR, pharmacy, etc)
- Masters degree or MBA a plus
- Coding in Python
What you will be doing in this role:
- Understand the worldview and pain points of Clarivate customers, working closely with them as a problem-solver. From Fortune 500 companies to smaller startups, you will converse with high-profile clients regularly and be expected to both present and defend conclusions to them.
- Design, develop, and maintain processes and systems to analyze structured & unstructured “big data” sources.
- Cleanse, integrate and evaluate large datasets from multiple disparate sources with an emphasis on US/LATAM medical devices and supplies markets.
- Evaluate data outputs with a keen eye for details, proactively finding potential errors and omissions.
- Identify opportunities and issues for data analysis and experiments, with bias towards driving customer delight.
- Contribute your vision; influence the evolution of our products, data models, and data usage strategy.
- Partner internally with Medtech Product, Insights, Sales and Marketing teams
- Be the Client Analyst aka point of contact for Medtech customers specific to the product operations
About the team:
Reporting to the Director of a large global group – our Medtech Data and Analytics team deals with enriched data and connects with customers regularly across US, Europe, LATAM and APAC . This team also works closely with the extended team in Bangalore to support our products and services.
Hours of Work
- This is a full time position, working primarily 9am to 5pm EST during the week
- Our colleagues work in a hybrid model 2-3 times on site in Toronto
