Lead, Away From Home (Foodservice) Distribution and Retail at a glance...
The Lead, Away From Home (AFH) Distribution and Retail owns and drives Kraft Heinz selling efforts, strategy development, growth initiatives and supply chain efficiency within the Canadian AFH (Foodservice) team. The position is a leadership role on the Canadian AFH leadership team, reports to the Head of AFH (Canada), manages direct reports, and owns the P&L and relationships for all major Canadian distributors, as well as with major Canadian Retailers purchasing AFH products. As the owner of your team and business, you will demonstrate Kraft Heinz scale and brands at the customer level to drive the broader business strategies poised to grow profitable volume and share.Insert position description here.

Leadership
- Mentors, manages, & coaches 4 direct reports through assessment of talent, providing constructive and timely feedback, and establishing practical development plans
- Strategically develops a high functioning work teams that empowers, grows, & recognizes/rewards employees
- Facilitates cross-functional experiences that builds knowledge base for future growth of direct reports, across the Kraft Heinz AFH Sales team and broader Kraft Heinz organization
Executional Excellence
- Leads cross-functional business planning within the AFH Distribution and Retail channel to drive strong performance across all channel initiatives, using all internal and external levers
- Develops, tracks, analyzes, and evaluates insightful business plans based on AFH priorities, customer strategies/initiatives and external factors
- Builds Kraft Heinz business with customer measured by profitability achievement, share gains, revenue targets, EBITDA, Customer P&L, new and core item introduction and distribution
- Communicates and influence implementation of business plans to enable superior execution across vital team members (i.e. Supply Chain, Demand Planning, Legal, Marketing, R&D)
- Drives efficient and effective trade programs to deliver best return on investment.
- Challenge both Kraft Heinz teams as well as external teams to drive creative ideas that capitalize on business opportunities
- Joint Business Planning with large strategic customers.
Customer Excellence
- Trusted liaison between the customer and Kraft Heinz organization
- Fosters relationships with all customers by establishing positive business relationships with decision makers at all levels & providing growth strategies that align to customer objectives
- Leads and/or assists with major business reviews and customer visits, including annual reviews and "top-to-top" meetings
- A bias toward action, with an entrepreneurial mentality, can make and own decisions, and effectively operate independently within a large, complex organization
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, demonstrated by effective presentation, influence, and negotiation with internal and external collaborators.
- Strong financial acumen to impact P&L management.
- Command of business acumen and strong business intuition
- Experience in restaurant, retail, culinary, and/or distributor industry preferred.

- Background in Sales with significant experience in building customer relationships, preferably in a CPG environment with Away From Home (Foodservice) exposure
- People management experience
- Strong financial competence inclusive of previous experience owning a P&L, proficiency in deploying trade, and understanding of profit and revenue drivers
- Critical Thinking and Planning skills
- Strong decision-making ability centered around a drive for results
