Job Description

We are currently seeking a motivated individual to join our team in Newmarket (Ontario) for a Monday to Friday from 7:00 a.m to 3:30 p.m Labourer position. As a Laborer, you will play a vital role in our daily operations by assisting in the dismantling and recycling process of vehicles. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about automobiles, enjoy hands-on work. 

What you’re responsible for: 

  • Dismantling and depolluting vehicles safely using hand tools and power tools 
  • Preparing vehicles for resale and/or display in the yard 
  • Dismounting wheels, rims and tires 
  • Cleaning, testing, and sorting batteries for resale 
  • Sorting and organizing salvaged parts for inventory  
  • Maintaining a clean and organized yard and work environment 

Qualifications

To join our team: 

  • You have previous experience in a general labour or similar role 
  • You have physical stamina and are able to lift 50lbs
  • You are able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment 
  • You are proficient in using hand tools and power tools 
  • You are reliable and willing to learn different areas of the business
  • You are comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
