About the Position:

Walters is looking for individuals with a strong work ethic and positive attitude who are seeking a position that will provide skill growth and development.


Reporting to the Team Leader, the Labourer will be responsible for but not limited to:


  • Read and interpret work orders.
  • Loads and unloads trailers, as required, to Walters Standards.
  • Sort metal sheets and parts, scrap metal and other materials.
  • May cut, grind or chip excess metal from metal products using hand tools.
  • Completes project specific tasks as assigned and required.
  • Performs housekeeping tasks as assigned.
  • Assists in the movement of material in the plant/property by use of crane, forklift, etc.

Work Location:

  • Princeton Facility.

Position Requirements:

  • Demonstrated ability to learn in a fast pace environment.
  • Knowledge of health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Strong communication skills and able to work well with others as part of a team.
  • Able to adapt and complete tasks as priorities change.
  • Strong time management skills and work ethic.

Compensation Package:

  • Wage: $20.00-$24.00/Hour
  • Vacation.
