We are seeking a highly skilled L3 DC Operations Analyst to manage and support software and hardware asset management (SAM/HAM) processes and modern data center operations, excluding legacy systems. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in asset lifecycle management, compliance, troubleshooting escalated issues, and optimizing modern data center technologies.

Asset Management (SAM/HAM):
- Oversee the complete lifecycle of data center software and hardware assets, from procurement to decommissioning.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of all assets using asset management tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Flexera, Snow).
- Ensure compliance with licensing agreements and regulatory standards.
- Monitor asset utilization to identify optimization opportunities and cost-saving measures.
- Support audits by preparing accurate and detailed reports on software and hardware assets.
- Provide L3 support for escalated issues related to modern data center infrastructure, including servers, storage, and networks.
- Implement and maintain automation processes for monitoring, alerting, and resolving operational issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system uptime, performance, and scalability.
- Manage integrations between cloud services and on-premises data center resources.
- Troubleshoot and resolve escalated incidents, perform root cause analysis, and prevent recurring issues.
- Ensure adherence to organizational policies, industry standards, and ITIL best practices.
- Collaborate with compliance teams to ensure software licensing and hardware management align with regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for policies, procedures, and workflows.
- Identify inefficiencies in asset management or data center operations and implement improvement initiatives.
- Research emerging technologies and make recommendations for system upgrades or changes.
- Mentor and train L1/L2 support teams on asset management practices and operational standards.
Technical Skills:
- Expertise in SAM/HAM tools like ServiceNow, Flexera, or Snow License Manager.
- Strong understanding of modern data center technologies, including servers, virtualization, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure), and storage systems.
- Proficiency with monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, Nagios, or DataDog.
- Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for automation and reporting.
- Working knowledge of ITIL frameworks and asset lifecycle management.
- 5+ years of experience in data center operations or IT asset management.
- Prior experience in an L3 role with escalated issue resolution and advanced troubleshooting.
- Proven track record in optimizing SAM/HAM processes and ensuring compliance.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, able to work across teams and with vendors.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
