- Support operations of the Rancher Gov stack for multi-cluster management.
- Contribute to GitOps pipelines using Fleet and ArgoCD to enable automation and consistency.
- Help package and distribute workloads using OCI bundles and Helm charts.
- Implement security best practices in collaboration with senior engineers (e.g., network segmentation, access control).
- Participate in cluster upgrades, patching, and monitoring for stability and performance.
- Troubleshoot platform issues and escalate complex problems to senior engineers when needed.
- Document processes, playbooks, and configuration details for repeatability.
Qualifications
- 4–6 years of experience in infrastructure, DevOps, or platform engineering.
- Solid hands-on experience with Kubernetes (preferably upstream or RKE2).
- Working knowledge of Rancher, Helm, and GitOps tools (Fleet, ArgoCD, or similar).
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker), Linux systems, and basic CI/CD practices.
- Good understanding of networking, security basics, and infrastructure operations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams.
- Eagerness to learn advanced Kubernetes practices and grow into senior-level responsibilities.
Nice to Have
- Exposure to edge or air-gapped environments in regulated industries.
