OVERVIEW


In this exciting position, the content reviewer will localize, translate, and adapt music lyrics and related content while adhering to the writing style guide and guidelines.

Main Duties

  • Perform linguistic quality assessments of translated audiovisual content from Korean (ko-KR) to Japanese (ja-JP).
  • Identify and correct linguistic errors, ensuring consistency in terminology and style.
  • Provide detailed feedback to translators and create quality reports.
  • Ensure adherence to client-specific style guides and glossaries.
  • Use CAT tools to review and assess translations.
  • Manage weekly capacity to handle 2000 - 5000 words per locale and ensure timely task completion.

Requirements

  • BS/BA in linguistic, translation, musicology, music production, music business, or related fields.
  • 2+ years of work experience in translation, linguistic, copy-writing, or copy-editing.
  • Deep understanding of various music genres, especially Rock, Pop, and Hip-Hop (R’n’B)
  • Extensive knowledge and passion for K-POP and J-POP
  • Exceptional command of Korean and Japanese languages
  • Proven experience in translating lyrics or similar content
