Position Summary

The KINESSO -  Data Analyst will be positioned for rapid growth within the Analytics Centre of Excellence and will gain invaluable hands-on experience working on Predictive Modelling and Advanced Measurement Projects. This role offers the chance to work with a wide variety of client planners, data & technical solutions providers, data sources and has a substantial internal support system. This position offers an intense focus on developing expertise in this exciting space. The ideal candidate must have strong knowledge of SQL, marketing analytics, dashboard visualization and some experience coding in Python. This role requires the ability to operate on both a strategic and tactical level, delving into data across many clients and brands and being able to bring to light the insights and analysis needed to show overall performance to clients and teams. support

Key Responsibilities

  • Create ETL processes in relational databases using SQL to prepare data for reporting and modelling
  • Create and develop dashboards to track and optimize audiences and their performance across various channels using Tableau
  • Conduct advanced analysis using Excel and Python and compile and share analysis and insights in presentations
  • Work closely with internal teams to identify client business needs and look for opportunities to create customized analyses for Clients
  • Ability to research, test and implement new tools, platforms and technologies to understand applications and use cases
  • Draw on expertise of functional experts within internal teams to continually develop skills and capabilities

Desired Skills & Experience

  • 2 to 3 years of experience in analytics focused roles manipulating data and providing insights on business KPI’s and performance metrics
  • Experience in data extraction, manipulation, analysis and reporting
  • Advanced knowledge and proficiency in use of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Data Visualization experience (Tableau or PowerBI)
  • Possession of excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, interact with senior management and clients, understand corporate strategy, and present actionable findings
  • Prior experience in marketing analytics, consumer insights, programmatic media, ad serving platforms, media agencies, trading desks or a relevant start-ups
  • Experience with any of R, Python or other transferrable coding language and exposure and/or experience with Machine Learning
  • Strong learning agility, with a passion for continuous development
