Your mission:
As a manager of the Key Accounts (Strategic Accounts) team, you will manage a team of account managers responsible for growing partnerships with large enterprise businesses. Your market knowledge, network and managerial experience will play a major role in the growth of Too Good To Go Canada.
Your role:
Your focus will be to lead the Account Management team. It is up to you to develop a high-performing team that focuses on spotting and winning opportunities to save food. You are ultimately responsible for the pipeline, forecast and overall results of the growth and retention team for Key Accounts in Canada. You help the team make the right choices through effective coaching and management. You also focus on the market to identify new potential key account supply opportunities and create a strong action plan with the team.
Critically, you will know what is going on with partners so you can play a role in defining and optimizing processes. In addition, you present and speak easily in large groups and you function as a proud ambassador of our mission to partners. As a Key Account Team Lead, you report directly to the Country Director (CA) and lead the strategy of the growth team.
We're looking for proactive individuals who demonstrate skills in the following areas:
- Leadership: Cultivate a collaborative culture, and mentor teams for peak performance, fostering continuous learning and growth.
- Coaching: Adept at using coaching frameworks (e.g. Skill/Will, MEDDICC) to develop their team to deliver best-in-class service and grow our marketplace.
- Hiring & Training: This position will oversee all growth and operations functions for Key Accounts in CA. You’ll oversee the hiring and training of the Growth Key Account Managers and Store Operations team.
- Performance Oriented: Drive accountability among your team to ensure forecasting targets are set and met
- Strategic: Strong commercial skills that sets the tone for the team and provides guidance at every stage of client development
- Communication: Polished and effective communication with stakeholders and team members to ensure that we deliver a high quality client engagement with our key account.
- Process & Organization: Effective documentation and resource management to ensure will be critical to the successful launch and continued rollout of our key partner; as will ensuring that the right process exists for everyone to be successful
- Analytical skills: Ability to make sense of data, take initiative on insights and report building, and increase data understanding over time.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Critical thinking and adaptability are essential for identifying and addressing issues as they arise.
- Organizational Skills: High attention to detail and ability to work independently and efficiently on tasks, escalating when needed.
- Cool Cucumber: This is a new role and team in Canada. The ideal candidate is an individual who not only loves a challenge but also thrives in the face of occasional ambiguity.
Requirements
- Significant relevant experience and have previously successfully managed high-performing teams.
- Experience with Salesforce (or CRM) preferred; accountability and demonstrated ability to effectively manage and meet key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Polished, detail-oriented professional with a humble and collaborative attitude.
- Data analysis skills with raw data to create performance reports and projections to identify and understand trends, opportunities and issues.
- Enthusiasm for sustainability, food waste reduction, and environmental issues.
- Experience with value-based selling and/or MEDDICC methodology (preferred).
- Bachelor's degree in business, economics, marketing, or a related field (preferred).
- Full professional proficiency in both French and English is an asset, but not required.
