Ready to move from opening doors to closing deals?
You've built the pipeline. You've mastered the cold call, the follow-up and the qualification. Now it's time to take ownership of the full sales cycle, with a company whose work changes outcomes for real patients.
If you're currently an SDR (or in a similar early-sales role) and you're hungry to grow towards your first field-based executive position, this is your next step.
Our mission
We believe there is a smarter, more data-driven way to make decisions in healthcare. Our cloud-native, AI-powered SOPHiA DDM Platform makes that vision a reality every day, helping to democratize data-driven medicine for the benefit of cancer and rare disease patients across the globe.
Your mission
As a Junior Sales Executive, you'll move beyond top-of-funnel prospecting and take on your own opportunities, working with labs and healthcare institutions across your territory in Germany. You'll turn the relationships and pipeline experience you've built into closed business, with the support of a global team and a platform you can be proud to sell.
You'll work closely with our Field Sales Executives and Sales Development team, learning from experienced colleagues while owning your own results.
What you'll achieve
  • Take qualified leads through the sales cycle, from first discovery conversation to closed deal
  • Manage and grow your own pipeline of opportunities in Salesforce CRM
  • Deliver compelling product presentations and demos of the SOPHiA DDM Platform to clinicians, lab directors and decision-makers
  • Understand customer needs in depth and position the right solutions to meet them
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with customers and prospects in your territory
  • Develop territory and account plans, identifying new business opportunities in the market
  • Partner with the Sales Development and Field Marketing teams to maximize lead conversion and shape outreach strategy
  • Represent SOPHiA GENETICS at customer meetings, events and conferences across the region

Requirements
All experience is valid, but to be best set up for success, we'd love you to bring:
  • Up to 5 years of sales experience, including time in an SDR/BDR or similar business development role, ideally within NGS, diagnostics, lab or healthcare companies
  • A proven track record of generating and qualifying opportunities, and a clear drive to take on more responsibility
  • Fluency in English and German (full working proficiency)
  • Excellent communication skills: you listen well, build trust quickly and are comfortable engaging with new people
  • Strong organization, with the ability to manage multiple opportunities and deadlines in a fast, methodical way
  • Experience with CRM or sales software (Salesforce, HubSpot, ZoomInfo) is a plus, but if you're computer literate, everything else is coachable
  • Technical knowledge of genomics or diagnostics is a bonus

Why join us?
  • A clear career step: move from SDR into a field-based executive role with real ownership of your pipeline and results
  • Purpose-driven work: every deal you win helps more patients get access to better, faster diagnostics
  • Flexibility: field-based and remote within Germany, ideally close to our colleagues in Frankfurt or Munich, though we'll consider candidates anywhere within the territory
  • A global, high-growth health-tech company with a collaborative, supportive culture
  • Development support: coaching, mentoring and training to help you grow your sales career

Benefits
You will be joining an organization with the patient at the heart of every decision and action, driven by purpose as we pursue exponential growth.
