We are looking for a Junior Logistics Specialist to support our logistics and warehouse activities in a hands-on, entry-level role. This position will work closely with the Logistics Coordinator and other team members to help move materials, organize shipments, support receiving and shipping tasks, and keep day-to-day logistics activities running smoothly. The ideal candidate is reliable, organized, willing to learn, and comfortable helping wherever needed in a busy manufacturing or warehouse environment. 

What you'll do

  • Assist with day-to-day logistics, shipping, receiving, and material handling activities 
  • Support the Logistics Coordinator with preparing shipments, organizing materials, and following up on logistics tasks. 
  • Receive, move, label, and organize incoming materials, parts, packages, and supplies. 
  • Help prepare outgoing shipments, including packing, labeling, staging, and basic documentation. 
  • Deliver materials, parts, tools, or paperwork between departments as needed. 
  • Maintain clean and organized logistics, storage, and shipping/receiving areas. 
  • Assist with inventory counts, stock checks, and basic record updates. 
  • Communicate with internal teams to help ensure materials are available where and when they are needed. 

What you'll need to get the job done

  • High school diploma or equivalent. 
  • Basic experience in logistics, warehouse, shipping/receiving, inventory, manufacturing, or a similar hands-on support role. 
  • Comfortable performing physical tasks such as moving boxes, organizing materials, and standing or walking for extended periods. 
  • Basic computer skills, including the ability to update records, use email, and work with simple spreadsheets or inventory systems. 
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions, procedures, and safety requirements. 
  • Reliable, organized, and willing to support a variety of tasks as priorities change. 

What will make us REALLY love you

  • Experience in a manufacturing, electronics, warehouse, or shipping/receiving environment. 
  • Familiarity with inventory systems, ERP tools, shipping software, or barcode scanning. 
  • Forklift, pallet jack, WHMIS, or other workplace safety training.
