Junior Electrical Design Specialist

RidgeTech Automation is looking for a Junior Electrical Design Specialist to join our growing team!

The ideal candidate will have a post-secondary degree/diploma in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, Robotics & Automation, or a similar program.  Knowledge of electrical design fundamentals following ANSI and IEC guidelines, along with previous experience with 2D and 3D development in AutoCAD or SolidWorks is essential.  Experience performing the following role responsibilities is required:

Electrical Design

• Execute control systems design of projects
• Develop electrical schematics including specifying hardware and components
• Develop hydraulic and pneumatic system design packages (AutoCAD or SolidWorks)

Health & Safety

• Develop and verify safety systems; understanding safety risk assessments and the PSHR/PSR process
• Uphold safe work practices

Project Management

• Manage project workflows through the entire design system process
• Manage client relationships to uphold project quality and client retention under the direction of Team Lead(s) 
• Participate in stand-ups, work planning, and technical reviews
• Utilize Jira for progress updates, collaboration, and ticket management
  
• Ensure accurate and complete project documentation
