At Ensemble, we’re seeking a strong Junior Creative Copywriter (1-year contract) with approximately two to three years’ experience who wants to use their conceptual thinking and fundamentally sound copywriting skills to help bring to life the brands of a fast-growing travel company. Reporting to the Associate Creative Director, you are responsible for creating distinctive brand communication across multiple touch points, including digital, social, video, print and collateral. As part of our team of marketing professionals, you will also help support teammates as needed with tasks like ideation, writing, editing and proofreading. Responsibilities
  • Speaking in the Ensemble brand tone across a wide range of media (such as digital banners, web, brochures, social content, print ads, advertorial, video) to meet marketing and creative objectives.
  • Brainstorming and executing innovative creative concepts that position our brands in a grounded and differentiated way.
  • Displaying consistently superior writing, editing and proofreading skills in all aspects of their work.
  • Welcoming feedback on their work, and being proficient at incorporating it with minimal oversight.
  • Good presentation skills – able to inspire, and sell their ideas and work.
  • Ability to plan, work autonomously and deliver on multiple time-sensitive projects in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of quality.
  • Productive, enthusiastic and egoless collaboration with marketing team members and other internal partners throughout the entire creative process.
  • Ensuring that all their work meets appropriate brand standards, in conjunction with other marketing team members.
  • Staying up to date on competitive trends and competitive marketing work in the travel industry.

Qualifications
  • An online portfolio of outstanding conceptual creative work, produced with one or more creative agencies.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word and PowerPoint)
  • Knowledgeable about a range of media, including social media platforms.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Powerpoint.
  • Digital marketing native.
  • Understanding of email and digital marketing is an asset.
  • Bachelor’s degree, college diploma, or other relevant post-secondary achievement.
