Main Duties
- Ensure the accounts payable procedures and processes are being followed
- Answer and respond to all vendor & employee queries within 1 business day
- Ensure payables are being consistently processed and paid in a timely manner
- Investigate and resolve any payable issues on a consistent basis
- Process stop-payments and void cheques
- Improve process to reduce frequency of manual cheques
- Address any AP issues brought forward by the accounting dept.
- Up to 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable
- Knowledge of Yardi Voyager-Elevate an asset
- Must have experience in high volume environment
- Ability to meet challenges in a fast-paced environment
- Organized, detail and deadline-oriented
- Ability to work through multiple priorities
- Intermediate level of Excel skills
