As a Fixed Networks Customer Engineer, you'll be a vital part of our customer engineering team, collaborating with diverse stakeholders. Your role involves intricate system and network design, integration, and deployment, ensuring our Fixed Networks solutions excel in the Americas region.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth Analysis & High-Level Design, defining solutions and developing requirements.
  • Create detailed System Development Designs, including interface specifications and migration plans.
  • Specify and implement System Element requirements, ensuring seamless integration of ALU and 3rd party elements.
  • Plan and execute System Integration & Verification processes, ensuring efficient and effective deployments.
  • Develop Network Deployment Designs, covering configuration templates, IP addressing, and capacity planning.
  • Integrate Network Elements, customizing documentation and performing essential software updates.
  • Manage Network Integration, coordinating multiple Network Element Integrations for a seamless experience.
  • Plan and execute Migration activities, including legacy equipment decommissioning, ensuring a smooth transition.
  • Collaborate closely with customers and internal teams to understand and meet their unique requirements.
  • Provide expert guidance and support to ensure successful system and network deployments.
Qualifications

You have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with a strong academic record.
  • Knowledge of network protocols, system architecture, and design principles, with a focus on Fixed Networks.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills, demonstrated through successful project outcomes.
  • Experience in network deployment and integration, with a track record of successful implementations.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, working independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a customer-centric approach.
  • Willingness to travel for customer engagements, ensuring a flexible and adaptable mindset.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard software and tools for network design and planning.
  • A proactive, solution-oriented mindset, with a passion for driving successful customer outcomes.
