The primary responsibilities of this position will be planning, managing and providing hardware and software support for the Distribution Center. This position requires the ability to perform these responsibilities in a safe, accurate and timely manner in accordance with Safety policy & procedures, Quality and the principles of 3Q6S, and time standards. Regular attendance is required for this position.
Job Description
ESSENTIAL Duties and Responsibilities:
- Resolves software and hardware problems for users in a timely manner
- Must be capable of making minor repairs to computers, printers and scanners
- Assist with Software installation and maintenance of PC, Printers, RF equipment, Thermal Printers.
- Maintains a hardware and software inventory/support for computers, monitors, printers, scanners, copiers and fax machines
- Provide Help Desk support to end-users
- Performs installation of desktop application software and hardware: maintains databases or ability to modifies existing ones.
- Ability to create documentation and provide training to users
- Develops spreadsheets and reports when requested.
- Maintains software licenses and contracts
- Assist in securing internal network and facility (networking and surveillance)
- Assess and periodically review the effectiveness of current operating systems.
- Make Suggest for improvements and/or the need for new hardware or software
- Works with departments to assess their needs, does research, makes recommendations, prepares proposals, orders, receives and installs

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS (Knowledge, Ability and Skill):
Knowledge: Must have an understanding of Microsoft word and excel. Must have a general understanding and ability to learn/manage CourtSmart (Courts recording system), CourtView(Court and Clerk’s Case Management system), MUNIS (Auditor’s Time Management, Financial and Human Resources system) and NetDMS (the Clerk’s imaging system)
Ability: Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language; must have superior communication skills.
Skill:
- Must be able to operate office equipment, such as a computer, telephone, scanner, copier and fax machine
- Requires extensive training and experience in software and hardware support as well as the interest and ability to learn new applications and technologies
- Must have ability to communicate with people with a variety of backgrounds, ages, circumstances, etc – in person and in groups
- Must have strong customer service skills, multi-tasking, and be able to work well in a team environment

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
- Must have minimum of 1 year experience working with laptop or desktop diagnosis and repair knowledge and Ethernet networking
- HS Diploma or Equivalent
- Degree preferred (Business, Accounting or related field) or in lieu of degree, 3 (three) years of direct inventory and inventory process management (automated and manual inventory systems).
- Power Equipment certification and the ability to maintain license through safe operation of equipment.
