Enbridge is looking for a specialist to provide SAP BTP solution expertise to the SAP based applications. The incumbent will help manage scope (Product Backlog), support project work through solutioning and bring a deep level of technical expertise to the teams to guide the design in addition to ensuring alignment of features or capabilities to the design plan.

This role will validate the Solution Integrators or Managed services provider estimates and planned approach to deliver the design to confirm the solution meets the business requirements, desired benefits, safe reliable operations, and adherence to all policies and governance. What You Will Do:

  • Lead the service delivery for SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) based applications with the help of AMS (Application Managed Services) team.

  • Advise on new application development based on SAP BTP suite of services including but not limited to Business Application Studio, BTP Administration, IAS (Identity and Access Services).

  • Partner with other SAP Product Owners; reviewing work plans and approaches; validate strategies and designs; provide guidance to ensure fit for purpose for Enbridge.

  • Support the team and Project delivery on technical queries as they relate to SAP BTP Instances & Services.

  • Provide technical guidance to solution support teams including participation in design, testing and deployment activities.

  • Lead the Release Planning and Review activities.

  • Guide the AMS vendor to deliver on issues and escalations that require additional direction (business processes, business contacts, TIS contacts, etc.).

  • Communicate effectively with sponsors, stakeholders and delivery and enablement and operations and our shared services TIS team members.

Who You Are:

You have the following education and experience:

  • College or University degree in a related field, e.g., Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience.

  • Minimum 7 years of experience working in SAP Cloud, SAP BTP platform, SAP Integrations.

  • Experience solutioning, designing, understanding, and applying business requirements to estimates to ensure business benefits are delivered and a positive experience.

  • Advanced communication skills demonstrated through previous experience in the following contexts: senior leadership progress reports, multi-disciplinary project meetings, technical reviews with developers and SME’s, leading group training sessions.

  • Ability to understand the issue at hand, drive the team to get to a root cause and resolve issues.

  • Experience operating on-prem and cloud-based hyperscalar architectures.

  • Passion for upholding Enbridge's core values of Safety, Integrity, Respect, and Inclusion along with our ways of working.

Preferred:

  • Experience in SAP IS- Utilities in Billing, FICA, ABAP is preferred.

  • Experience in Vendor management and contract negotiations will be an asset.

Working Conditions:

Occasional travel, 8 to 10 times per year between Enbridge regions/office locations.
