We are looking to engage a Senior IT Project Manager for a  contract to independently lead a Proof of Concept (PoC) focused on Digital Identity for External Users. This PoC will evaluate approaches for external user identity, authentication, identity proofing, and access management across web‑based channels.

This is a high‑autonomy role. We are seeking a senior PM who can run the PoC end‑to‑end with minimal operational support and return with a clear, evidence‑based recommendation.

This engagement is focused on clarity and decision enablement, not full solution delivery.


Must‑Have Skillsets

  • Senior IT Project Management experience (10+ years)
  • Proven ability to lead complex initiatives independently in ambiguous and exploratory problem spaces.Direct Proof of Concept / pilot experience
  • Demonstrated ownership of PoCs or technology evaluations where outcomes were not pre‑determined and required evidence‑based decisions.
  • Strong web‑based / digital platform experience
  • Comfortable working with web applications, authentication flows, integrations, and non‑functional requirements.External digital identity and access management exposure
  • Experience with initiatives involving external users, authentication, identity proofing, authorization, privacy, and security considerations.
  • Not a hands‑on technical role, but must confidently engage architects, security, privacy, risk, and vendors on identity‑related topics.Low‑support operating model
  • Able to define scope, success criteria, risks, and dependencies without step‑by‑step direction.Executive‑level communication
  • Strong at synthesizing findings and delivering clear proceed / pivot / stop recommendations to senior leaders.


Requirements

Knowledge & Skills

  • Education: Completion of Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience: 5 to 7 years of directly related experience managing complex projects in various industries and environments
  • Technical or Professional Qualifications or Certifications / Designations: Project Management Certification such as PMP or Prince 2
