Position Description:
Under the direction supervision of the IT Support Manager, the IT Intern will log, monitor and respond to IT services requests recorded in an automated trouble ticket reporting and tracking system. The IT Intern will provide 1st tier support to troubleshoot, solve, and escalate as required, desktop computer issues.
What You’ll DO:
PC and application support to users by managing the IT Help Desk
Manage and prioritize the IT Help Desk tickets including logging, answering and closing the tickets
Perform IT hardware/software installations
Perform IT Technical troubleshooting in a network environment
Lead projects such as equipment installations, systems administration, database development, organizing and delivering user training sessions
Basic Qualifications:
Enrolled in post secondary school in Computer Sciences or equivalent
A strong interest in working with others to solve IT software/hardware questions and issues
