We are looking for an enthusiastic IT Support Assistant/Coordinator to join our dynamic IT team on a permanent, full time-basis, based in our fabulous Brisbane office!
Nous IT uses some of the latest cloud technologies to support our business. This exciting opportunity will ideally suit someone who is early on in their IT career and looking to learn quickly and develop. The role combines IT technical support (level 1) with some other IT administrative work related to asset management, procurement administration and licence management. There will be no shortage of opportunities for you to learn and build a strong career foundation.
The role:
- Provide onsite IT technical support (level 1) for our Brisbane office staff, plus remote support to the rest of our global business (a wide range of technical support tasks including troubleshooting laptop/peripheral issues, troubleshooting audio-visual equipment, user management, and many more)
- Maintain accurate registers of Nous IT software and hardware, suppliers and warranty contracts
- Order IT accessories from agreed suppliers
- Process invoices for IT services, software and hardware, including cost allocation
- Administer software license allocations, assisted by automation.
- Support good information management processes and data security. Provide access to systems ethically; produce reports to demonstrate cybersecurity compliance and assist decision making
- Administer IT change records to ensure good IT infrastructure, application and device change process and documentation
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders; schedule meetings and coordinate small IT projects

And the practical experience and skills...
- Experience in an IT Support role, or an administrative role with some IT focus
- At minimum, some basic IT technical knowledge (the stronger the better!)
- Experience in handling administrative tasks effectively, such as invoice processing
- Exceptional at following established procedures and guidelines, ensuring consistency and excellence in every task
- Preferred: Relevant qualification in business administration, IT, or a related field
- Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with vendors, team members, and other stakeholders
- Collaborative spirit, adept at working within a team to achieve common goals
- Confident working as the only IT person in Brisbane (you’ll be the IT hero!), supported by a wider IT team of 20.
