Job Summary:
Employs agile development and data analytics skills to take business needs from business process owners and develop procurement solutions that will allow buyers and external suppliers to efficiently perform their tasks.
What You Will Have:

  • Analyzing customer requirements based on the understanding of conformed models and catering solutions that are implementable and maintainable.
  • Discerning data accuracies in large sets of data of diverse formats stored in Snowflake based data warehouses
  • Researching, designing, and documenting data specifications at all points in the production life cycle.
  • Understanding software development and web technologies and having proficiency in SQL and other data programming languages.


What You Will Do:
Agile Development:

  • Defines epics, features, user stories, test scenarios, etc. to represent business needs.
  • Applies major tools and techniques associated with the agile methodology like Azure DevOps.


ETL Process:

  • Acquires a large amount of data from different sources/systems.
  • Solves technical and administrative problems during the ETL process.


System and Technology Integration:

  • Knowledge of the features and facilities of systems; ability to integrate and communicate among applications, databases and technology platforms like Snaplogic, IBM ACE.
  • Explores major issues and considerations for successful system integration.
  • Works with applications, data, technology bridges and a variety of platforms.


Database Design (Physical):

  • Knowledge of database systems; ability to establish a data model for designing an organization's database that runs effectively and efficiently for better business outcome.
  • Researches relationships between different business data sets.
  • Participates in the establishment of data structures based on their relationships.


Cloud Computing:

  • Works with a specific cloud service model, such as Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) or Software as a Service (SaaS).
  • Follows established procedures in defining client requirements for cloud services.

Summary Pay Range:
$95,640.00 - $143,520.00
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
