MISTRAS Services Inc. is a leading global provider of asset protection solutions, also a major player in the field of Industrial Rope Access. MISTRAS Services Inc. leverage IRATA certified rope access techniques to provide safe, efficient, and cost-effective access to hard-to-reach industrial, civil, and energy assets. MISTRAS Services Inc. is seeking IRATAT Rope Access Technicians (Level 1, 2, or 3) to join our team to assist with project and outage work at our clients sites. The successful candidates must have a current IRATA Level 1, 2, or 3 certification. 

Primary Duties, Responsibilities, and Abilities Required: 

  • Preform work as directed by the site leadership team to accomplish outage/project objectives for site repairs 
  • Work with a high degree of skill and accuracy 
  • Possess the necessary mechanical and technical knowledge and skill related to rope access work 
  • Assist with labour based tasks 
  • Assist with site trades to complete work as necessary 
  • Uphold MISTRAS and Client site safety rules and processes 
  • Adhere to IRATA standards and guidelines 
  • Mechanical aptitude and dexterity 
  • Ability to read and understand complex instructions 
  • Ability to work in Hot/Cold environments 
  • Ability to work in Dusty/Dry/Wet conditions 
  • Ability to lift upwards of 25KGS 

Technical Requirements:  

  • Possess an IRATA Level 1, 2, or 3 (Or be willing to undergo a company sponsored IRATA Level 1 Rope Access course) 
  • Other rope access based qualified are an asset
