Are you curious about what makes early-stage startups succeed? Do you thrive in fast-paced environments and love building meaningful relationships with ambitious founders?

Forum Ventures is hiring an Investment Analyst to join our team in Toronto and help us find, fund, and support the next generation of standout B2B technology startups for our Accelerator.

We invest in 75+ early-stage companies annually across North America, backing ambitious founders with capital, hands-on support, and a deep founder community. As a member of our investment team, you’ll play a lead role in sourcing top-tier startups, supporting investment decisions, and representing Forum Ventures in the market. This is not a passive role. If you’re looking for a place to learn, build relationships, and make bold bets, you’ll fit right in.

What You’ll Do:

  • Source high-potential early-stage startups across North America through outbound sourcing, founder referrals, community engagement, and data tools.

  • Manage and evaluate inbound deal flow, from first screen to diligence to final investment recommendation.

  • Build strong relationships with founders, operators, investors, and startup ecosystem players. You’ll represent Forum at events, host founder coffees, and share your POV in the market.

  • Support internal thesis development, including market mapping, trend analysis, and white-space identification.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with our Platform and Accelerator teams to ensure a world-class experience for the founders we back.

About You:

  • Based in Toronto, with the ability to attend in-person events and meetings.

  • You have 1–3 years of experience in venture, early-stage startups, or adjacent roles (e.g. founder, venture scout, community builder, accelerator).

  • You’re obsessed with startups and emerging technology. You’re always learning, curious, and plugged into what’s next.

  • You’re a strong communicator and storyteller. You can write tight memos, distill complexity, and make the case for a founder or market.

  • You're a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity, energized by pace, and biased toward action.

  • You love building authentic relationships and spotting talent early, whether through cold outreach, events, or a friend-of-a-friend intro.

  • You’re digitally native, comfortable creating content, sharing ideas online, and experimenting with ways to grow your network and get in front of founders.

  • Bonus: You’ve built something yourself, side hustle, startup, newsletter, community, or have a founder’s empathy from being on the other side of the table.

Why Forum Ventures:

Forum Ventures is an early-stage fund, accelerator, and founder community helping B2B SaaS companies go from pre-seed to seed. Over the last decade, we’ve backed hundreds of companies who have gone on to raise $1B+ from top funds like a16z, Kleiner Perkins, Founders Fund, General Catalyst, NEA, Craft, Emergence, and many more.

We’re a tight-knit team of operators, investors, and builders who love this work and genuinely care about the founders we support. You'll have meaningful ownership, direct exposure to deals, and the opportunity to shape how we invest and scale in the years to come.

Application Process:

We're reviewing applications on a rolling basis and will close this intake on April 10, 2026 (10PM EST). We recommend applying early.
