We are currently seeking an Internal Wholesaler to join our Sales team. In this role, the successful candidate will support the development of CI Global Asset Management product offerings and sales, marketing and customer service strategies for Assante advisors and their teams.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Perform pro-active call and sales campaigns to promote Assante’s product offerings to existing and potential clients
  • Generating referrals for your respective wholesalers
  • Perform account management and customer service duties for established clients
  • Respond to inquiries on products, fund management strategies, portfolio manager philosophies/processes/styles and industry trends
  • Develop sales campaigns and materials and assist in the delivery of sales presentations 
  • Assist in responses to due diligence questionnaires
  • Perform (monthly, quarterly, etc.) territorial sales and asset reporting
  • Collect client and competitor information from Internet and other sources
  • Work closely with and support efforts of other team members
  • Assist in administrative functions as required

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

  • Post-secondary education
  • Bilingual French/ English a Must
  • Financial services designations (e.g. CSC, CFP, CIM, CFA)
  • Minimum 2 years financial services industry experience
  • Requires sound knowledge of securities, mutual fund products, and investment industry
  • Excellent PC skills – esp. MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in managing relationships with clients 
  • Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Resourcefulness and creative problem-solving skills to provide effective solutions for clients

This opportunity is for an existing vacancy with the company. The anticipated base salary range for this position is$55,000 to$95,000. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a bonus program. In addition, The Company offers a variety of benefits to eligible employees, including health insurance coverage, wellness programs, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plans, paid leave programs, education-related programs, paid holidays and vacation time, and many others. Many of these benefits are subsidized or fully paid for by the company.
