Work location: Remote (with hybrid options in Toronto)

Compensation: Hourly ($32)

The Vosyn internship is unique. Remuneration is equivalent to $32.00 CAD per hour payable in common shares of the Corporation at the then fair market value. For greater clarity, NO cash in-hand (in hourly rate or salary) will be paid to the Intern. Instead, Vosyn being an AI start-up, the upside is in potential future value of said shares based on the hours worked, billed and approved.

About the role:  We are seeking a talented Internal Communications Specialist to help shape our internal and external messaging, creating a seamless flow of information that aligns with our organizational goals. This role combines strategic planning and hands-on content creation, with a focus on managing corporate narratives and fostering meaningful engagement across teams and stakeholders. This is a high-impact internship designed for emerging professionals passionate about communications and PR within a fast-paced, innovative AI-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Internal Communications Management: Develop and manage internal communications, including updates, newsletters, and company-wide announcements.
• Strategic Messaging and Briefing Creation: Create internal communication releases, executive briefings, and corporate presentations to support organizational initiatives.
• Collaboration with Leadership on Communication Strategies: Collaborate with leadership to define and execute communication strategies that align with organizational goals.
• Crisis Communication Support: Support crisis communication efforts, ensuring timely and effective messaging during critical situations.
• Stakeholder Engagement and Relationship Building: Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders to promote collaboration, transparency, and effective information flow.
• Communication Effectiveness Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor communication effectiveness through KPIs and analytics, providing insights for continuous improvement.

About You:

• Currently enrolled or recently graduated in an MBA or from a Master’s program in communications, marketing, public relations, or a related field. Master’s program enrollment or completion is mandatory.
• Previous experience in communications, PR, or content creation roles, preferably in tech or startup environments.
• Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to create clear and engaging content.
• Proficiency in content management systems, communication platforms, and analytics tools.
• Familiarity with visual communication tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills, creativity, and a proactive problem-solving approach.
• Demonstrated experience through coursework, projects, or volunteer work in communications-related fields is a plus.

Recruitment Process:

1. Application Submission: Candidates are invited to submit their resumes and cover letters through our career portal.
2. Written Questionnaire: Selected candidates will receive a set of 10 written questions to assess their fit and technical knowledge..
3. Video Questionnaire: Candidates who successfully pass the written assessment will be asked to answer 10 additional questions to be submitted in a video format to further evaluate their skills and cultural fit.  The ability to video record your answers will be required.
4. Evaluation: Our team will review the responses to both questionnaires. Candidates who meet our criteria will be invited to the next stage.
5. Orientation Session: Successful candidates will be invited to participate in an orientation session where they will learn more about Vosyn, our projects, and what to expect during the internship. After this session, you will be given the opportunity to opt-in if you believe that this internship is for you.
